ABSTRACT
Secularism is still on the agenda as an important problem from the day it entered the constitution in Turkey. However, the Naqshbandi oligarchy, which came to power in the early 2000s, does not talk about secularism at this stage. Despite this, secularism remains an unsolved problem even today. For nearly a century, secular Turkish governments have used the secular system as a means of despotism against the will of the people. When we look at this speculative event, we see that secularism is forcibly imposed on society. In the eyes of the Kemalist minority who were in power until recently, secularism was nothing but Islamophobia. However, the Kemalists have recently lost their position at the political level. From the beginning of the 21st century, power passed into the hands of the Naqshbandi elite. Kemalists, who are the guardians of secularism, only control the bureaucracy. However, the attitude of the Naqshbandis on secularism is not different from that of the Kemalists. The Naqshbandis also use secularism in line with their own ideology. In other words, they use secularism as a shield against Islam, in favor of the religion of Müslümanlik. As a result, both sides use secularism for the same purpose and both sides try to strengthen Müslümanlik against Islam. Despite different approaches, secularism is actually an important weapon in the hands of both sides against Islam. . المزيد..
